Deposits are not mandatory, they are a way to reserve a puppy for purchase. No puppy is considered sold until a deposit has been made or payment is made in full. To reserve a puppy we require a $500 non-refundable deposit that will be deducted from the total sales amount. We will not hold a puppy until a purchase agreement has been signed by both parties and a deposit has been received.

Deposits are non-refundable once you make your puppy selection. The only circumstance where a deposit will be returned is if Charming Cavaliers can not produce the puppy the Buyer put on hold. However, if you place your deposit on an upcoming litter and you do not find a puppy in that litter to your liking your deposit may be transferable to a future litter. We want all of our buyers to be completely in love with their new family member. We would never want to place one of our Charming Cavaliers in a home where they are not loved at first sight.

Charming Cavaliers will not always exercise this right but, we reserve the right of first pick of the litter on each litter born. All puppies in the litter will be up for adoption in the order deposits are taken. For example, first to have their deposit in will get first pick of the color and gender they selected, second depositor will have 2nd pick and so on. If you are a 1st depositor asking for a Blenheim Male you would get first pick of the Blenheim males.  

Deposits can be made by bank certified check, money order, personal check, or cash (if in person). Your balance is due in full at the time of pick up or two weeks prior if shipping. No puppy will be released if payment has not been made in full. If paying by a personal check payment must be made two weeks prior to pick up or shipping date to allow time for check to clear the bank. Cash or bank certified checks will be the only form of payment accepted on the day of pick up. No Personal Checks! 

Puppy held at buyers request beyond 10 weeks of age.
Charming Cavaliers will be glad to work with a buyer to hold a puppy past 10 weeks of age should the need arise for various reasons. Once you choose your puppy your Non-refundable deposit is needed to hold that puppy. Payment in full must be made by the time the puppy is 10 weeks of age regardless of the pickup date. There is no extra cost to hold a puppy but, a pick up date will need to be arranged in writing and signed by both parties. Please contact us for more details if this is an arrangement you will need.

Once your puppy is reserved, Charming Cavaliers will e-mail weekly pictures and updates. As a reminder payments of balances must be made in full before Charming Cavaliers will release a puppy. If paying your balance by personal check your payment must be made in advance two weeks before your pick-up/shipping date. This will give the check time to clear. Note: No Personal Checks the day of pick up!

Charming Cavaliers is dedicated to the health, welll being and happiness of the Cavalier breed. Our puppies are well socialized, healthy, and gorgeous. To insure the well being of our Cavaliers and insure the best possible puppies will be produced we have limited puppies available due to our limited number of breedings per year. We do not breed every heat cycle in order to give our girls bodies’ time to rest before their next litter. We will contact you in the way you request with details about current and expected litters. Being on the waiting list can not insure you will be able to adopt a puppy from Charming Cavaliers, it mean’s you will be one of the first to know about a litter and have an opportunity to place a deposit on the puppy of your preference.
